Trip the light fantastic Sophie Ellis – Bextor

Dupa  patru ani de la albumul Shoot from the Hip, solista pop Sophie Ellis Bextor ne invita din nou la dans cu Trip the Light Fantastic. Albumul pastreaza acelasi stil  “glamourous” cu care britanica ne-a obisnuit deja. Desi pe alocuri isi mai pierde putin din stralucire, criticii tind sa considere albumul mai bun decat cel anterior.

Trip the light fantastic incepe in forta. Ritmul melodiilor “Catch you” si “Me and my imagination”  te prinde si nu-ti mai da drumul pana la “Today the Sun’s on us” – o piesa mai lenta. Apoi sub luminile new-yorkeze – “New York City Lights” – iti revine cheful de dans, iar pana la final mai ai doar cateva momente de respiro.
