Ajunge pe podul Notre Dame la un &#8220;produc\u0103tor&#8221; de tablouri \u015fi obiecte de cult. T\u00e2n\u0103rul zugr\u0103ve\u015fte chipuri de sfin\u0163i c\u00e2t e ziua de lung\u0103, o \u00eendeletnicire care-i \u0163ine de foame, dar care nu-l ajut\u0103 s\u0103 evolueze. Seara se refugiaz\u0103 \u00een lumea satelor flamande: c\u00e2nt\u0103re\u0163i, dansatori, saltimbanci \u015fi meseria\u015fi umili.<\/p>\n<p>Ucenicul are \u015fansa de a fi descoperit de pictorul Claude Gillot, care \u00eel scoate din \u00eenchisoarea sfin\u0163ilor \u015fi \u00eel duce \u00een atelierul s\u0103u, unde sta s\u0103 r\u0103sar\u0103 o lume nou\u0103, plin\u0103 de voie bun\u0103. \u00cen atelier \u00ee\u015fi dau \u00eent\u00e2lnire pergole aerate, volute \u015fi ghirlande, dansatori, panglici de m\u0103tase, p\u0103stori \u015fi p\u0103stori\u0163e, flori ce se revars\u0103 din co\u015furi \u015fi vaze. Un stil decorativ plin de voie bun\u0103, o lume cu totul nou\u0103 pentru t\u00e2n\u0103rul pictor, stilul Regence din care va ap\u0103rea firesc, Rococoul. Culori str\u0103lucitoare, Arlechini \u015fi Columbine, chicoteal\u0103 \u015fi \u015ftreng\u0103rie, c\u00e2ntec de mandolin\u0103 \u015fi ritm de castagniete, o be\u0163ie de culori \u015fi tonuri. Vis\u0103torul Watteau \u00eei admir\u0103 pe gigan\u0163ii Rubens, Ti\u0163ian sau Giorgione, se compar\u0103 cu ei \u015fi i se pare c\u0103 este jalnic. El este s\u0103rac, ur\u00e2\u0163el \u015fi bolnav de piept. Nu-i crede pe cei ce-i spun c\u0103 pictura sa are pre\u0163, ba chiar se \u00eenfurie atunci c\u00e2nd cineva se ofer\u0103 s\u0103-i pl\u0103teasc\u0103 un pre\u0163 corespunz\u0103tor pe un tablou. Unui admirator cum este frizerul care \u00eei aduce peruca \u00eei d\u0103 tot ce are. Unii spun c\u0103 este un autoportret al pictorului, pentru c\u0103 triste\u0163ea care r\u0103zbate din privirea personajului se potrive\u015fte cu via\u0163a lipsit\u0103 de bucurie a pictorului. Pierrot o va pierde mereu pe Columbina, flu\u015fturatica care \u00eel va prefera pe Arlechin, \u015fi este destinat s\u0103 r\u0103m\u00e2n\u0103 cu inima fr\u00e2nt\u0103. De\u015fi piesa nu ne spune, Pierrot, Gilles sau Watteau se vor refugia mereu \u00een lumea lor, a speran\u0163ei.<\/p>\n<p>Campania pe acest p\u0103m\u00e2nt a lui Antoine Watteau ia sf\u00e2r\u015fit atunci c\u00e2nd pictorul avea numai 37 de ani. Proiectele sale, peste 400 de tablouri, cele mai multe delicate, vesele \u015fi pline de lumin\u0103, sunt batjocorite, ba \u00een timpul Revolu\u0163iei Franceze terfelite de-a binelea. Abia undeva pe la 1850 fra\u0163ii Goncourt \u00eei recunosc arta \u015fi-l a\u015faz\u0103 la locul pe care \u00eel merit\u0103.<\/p>\n<p>Ce faci c\u00e2nd, obosit de existen\u0163a dus\u0103 \u00eentre trei proiecte \u015fi cinci campanii \u015fi plin de v\u00e2n\u0103t\u0103i de la chestiile tari de care te tot love\u015fti prin t\u00e2rg, sim\u0163i c\u0103 nu mai po\u0163i?
