Aceasta pentru ca Andy Serkis a fost Gollum in trilogia “Lord of
\nthe Rings”, King Kong in filmul cu acelasi nume realizat in 2005 de
\nPeter Jackson si il interpreteaza pe Caesar, maimuta inteligenta
\ndin recent lansatul film “Rise of the Planet of the Apes”. In 2012
\nSerkis va fi din nou Gollum in productia “The Hobbit”.
\nPentru personajele interpretate Serkis a fost nominalizat la
\npremiile Golden Globe sau Saturn si au fost voci care au spus ca
\nmerita o nominalizare si la Oscar, pentru Gollum.<\/p>\n

Actoria CGI (computer-generated imagery), care foloseste
\npersonaje reale pentru vocea, gesturile si expresiile faciale ale
\npersonajelor animate ce apar in filme a fost practic impusa de
\nAvatar, dar principalul pionier este Serkis. Performanta acestuia
\nin “Rise of the Planet of the Apes” si gama de expresii pe care i-a
\noferit-o cimpanzeului Caesar l-au facut pe regizorul filmului,
\nRupert Wyatt sa-l numeasca pe Serkis “Charlie Chaplin al timpurilor
\nnoastre”.<\/p>\n

Serkis a jucat si in filme “normale”, printre care The Prestige
\n(relatia dintre doi iluzionisti de succes), Longford (portretul
\nunui politician) sau thrillerul Sugarhouse.
\nAndy Serkis s-a nascut la 20 aprilie 1964, in apropiere de Londra.
\nEste casatorit, are trei copii si a fost vegetarian pana la
\nmomentul “Lord of the Rings”, cand a inceput sa manance peste. A
