Tatal sau a dezaprobat pasiunea pentru literatura a lui Georg, care insa a inceput sa scrie inca din studentie. Pana la moartea sa, in 1837, a scris doar patru piese.<\/P><?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = \"urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office\" \/><o:p><SPAN class=text>  <P class=MsoNormal style=\"MARGIN: 0cm 0cm 0pt\" align=justify><o:p>&nbsp;<\/o:p><\/P>  <P class=MsoNormal style=\"MARGIN: 0cm 0cm 0pt\" align=justify><STRONG>CONCURS RATAT:<\/STRONG> Georg B\u00fcchner a scris \u0084Leonce und Lena\u0093 in primavara anului 1836, cand traia in exil la <?xml:namespace prefix = st1 ns = \"urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:smarttags\" \/><st1:place w:st=\"on\"><st1:City w:st=\"on\">Strasbourg<\/st1:City><\/st1:place>. Editura Cotta din <st1:place w:st=\"on\"><st1:City w:st=\"on\">Stuttgart<\/st1:City><\/st1:place> anuntase un concurs pentru desemnarea \u0084celei mai bune comedii\u0093, cu un important premiu in bani. Pentru ca era stramtorat, B\u00fcchner a scris piesa si a trimis-o, insa manuscrisul a ajuns la editura dupa expirarea termenului pentru concurs.<\/P>  <P class=MsoNormal style=\"MARGIN: 0cm 0cm 0pt\" align=justify><o:p>&nbsp;<\/o:p><\/P>  <P class=MsoNormal style=\"MARGIN: 0cm 0cm 0pt\" align=justify><STRONG><st1:place w:st=\"on\"><st1:City w:st=\"on\">SURSE<\/st1:City> <st1:State w:st=\"on\">DE<\/st1:State><\/st1:place> INSPIRATIE:<\/STRONG> Dramaturgul german a avut ca surse de inspiratie in primul rand \u0084Cum va place?\u0093 a lui William Shakespeare, precum si \u0084Ponce de Leon\u0093 a lui Clement Bretano si \u0084Fantasio\u0093 de Alfred Musset.<\/P>  <P class=MsoNormal style=\"MARGIN: 0cm 0cm 0pt\" align=justify><o:p>&nbsp;<\/o:p><\/P>  <P class=MsoNormal style=\"MARGIN: 0cm 0cm 0pt\" align=justify><STRONG>PREMIERA:<\/STRONG> Desi a ratat termenul de inscriere in concurs, B\u00fcchner a revizuit piesa, insa n-a mai apucat sa o vada montata. A murit un an mai tarziu de tifos, iar piesa a fost publicata postum, in 1838.
