In anul 2000, Valeriu Ionescu, pe atunci director al AIG New Europe Fund l-a convins pe fondatorul Ovidiu Crisan sa-si vanda afacerea catre Astral, in care AIG detinea actiuni.<\/STRONG> <\/P><SPAN class=text>  <P align=justify><STRONG>PRETUL:<\/STRONG> Crisan a vandut in 2000 Kappa, al carei fundament fusese turnat in perioada romantica a Internetului, \u0084cu aproape opt milioane de dolari\u0093, isi aminteste Valeriu Ionescu. \u0084N-a fost tocmai usor sa il conving.\u0093 <\/P>  <P align=justify><STRONG>DUPA VANZARE:<\/STRONG> Crisan a investit dupa 2000 intr-un buncar IT pe Calea Dorobantilor, insa piata nu s-a dovedit pregatita pentru o astfel de afacere. Crisan si-a incercat mana si in alte domenii: a vrut sa faca o retea de hoteluri de tranzit si o ciupercarie. Esec pe toata linia. \u0084Nu am gasit managerii potriviti care sa se ocupe de aceste afaceri\u0093, spune Crisan. <\/P>  <P align=justify><STRONG>ALTE PROIECTE:<\/STRONG> Buncarul IT a devenit sediu de birouri, iar Crisan a cumparat zece hectare de teren pe langa Bucuresti si dezvolta un sat de vacanta.&nbsp; <\/P>  <P align=justify><STRONG>CONCLUZIE:<\/STRONG> Crisan nu va mai investi in IT pentru ca, spune el, nu mai este piata.
