Probabil c\u0103 e mai sigur dec\u00e2t s\u0103 fii \u00eentr-o ma\u015fin\u0103 condus\u0103 de un \u015fofer care folose\u015fte social media\u201d, spune un angajat din servicii din Statele Unite, \u00eentrebat c\u00e2t de popular\u0103 este Waymo. Iar \u015foferul care m-a adus la aeroport mi-a spus c\u00e2nd mi-a oferit bagajul: \u201eNicio ma\u015fin\u0103 autonom\u0103 nu ar face asta\u201d \u2013 scepticii&nbsp; \u015fi ve\u015fnica dezbatere referitoare la \u201erobo\u0163ii ne vor lua locul\u201d \u00ee\u015fi fac loc \u015fi aici.<\/p>\n<p>\n<img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"\" src=\"http:\/\/storage0.dms.mpinteractiv.ro\/media\/401\/341\/5544\/21337039\/2\/cop-bm-866.jpg?height=199&#038;width=150\" style=\"width: 150px; height: 199px; margin: 10px; float: left;\" \/>Totu\u015fi, c\u00e2nd m\u0103 \u00eendreptam spre aeroport, mi se p\u0103rea fascinant cum se pierde \u00een zare un autovehicul alb, ce avea pe capot\u0103 ceva ce aducea cu imaginile unui OZN. Ma\u015fina avea o vitez\u0103 destul de mare, iar volanul vira singur. Waymo sau \u201ecel mai experimentat \u015fofer al lumii\u201d, a\u015fa cum este promovat de companie, este primul serviciu de ride-hailing cu ma\u015fini autonome lansat la nivel global. Este, de altfel, proiectul ma\u015finilor autonome lansat de Google \u00een anul 2009. Iar Waymo are deja competi\u0163ie: pe str\u0103zile din San Francisco circul\u0103 \u015fi Cruise, un business cu ma\u015fini autonome de\u0163inut \u00een mare parte de General Motors. Pentru mai pu\u0163in de 10 dolari, po\u0163i s\u0103 \u00eenlocuie\u015fti vestitul tramvai din San Francisco (pe cablu, operat manual), cu un \u201erobotaxi\u201d, a\u015fa cum sunt cunoscute vehiculele \u00een presa interna\u0163ional\u0103. Tr\u0103im vremuri fascinante \u2013 iar investi\u0163iile alocate acestor inven\u0163ii sunt pe m\u0103sur\u0103.<\/p>\n<p>\n\u201ePare uneori c\u0103 to\u0163i banii din tech sunt investi\u0163i \u00een digital advertising, monede digitale \u015fi aplica\u0163ii pentru consumatori. Dar ma\u015finile autonome reprezint\u0103 un domeniu cu poten\u0163ialul de a schimba vie\u0163i \u015fi ofer\u0103 exemplul mult mai tangibil de progres \u00een tech\u201d, spunea \u00eentr-o analiz\u0103 un jurnalist al Financial Times. Potrivit Silicon Valley Indicators, la fiecare 100.000 de oameni din San Francisco, exist\u0103 387 de patente de inven\u0163ii \u00eenregistrate, \u00een timp ce \u00een Silicon Valley, num\u0103rul ajunge la 665. Fiecare inova\u0163ie a generat un val de investi\u0163ii care a \u00eembun\u0103t\u0103\u0163it profitabilitatea \u015fi a atras capital str\u0103in, \u00eemping\u00e2nd dolarul \u00een sus. De c\u00e2\u0163iva ani, de c\u00e2nd BUSINESS Magazin lanseaz\u0103 suplimentul \u201eCele mai inovatoare companii din Rom\u00e2nia\u201d, c\u00e2t \u015fi evenimentul dedicat inova\u0163iei, \u0163ara noastr\u0103 nu a dep\u0103\u015fit \u00eencadrarea \u00een categoria \u201einovatorilor mode\u015fti\u201d la nivelul UE. Asta nu \u00eenseamn\u0103 c\u0103 \u00een Rom\u00e2nia nu se inoveaz\u0103 \u2013 \u00eens\u0103 a\u015f spune c\u0103 suntem \u00eenc\u0103 la distan\u0163\u0103 de trenul sau mai bine zis, de \u201ema\u015fina autonom\u0103\u201d a inova\u0163iilor moderne.&nbsp; R\u0103spunsul la \u00eentrebarea din titlu este c\u0103 nu, \u00eenc\u0103 nu este legal s\u0103 dormi \u00eentr-o ma\u015fin\u0103 care se conduce singur\u0103.
