Paul a f\u0103cut cursuri de specialitate \u015fi a \u00eenceput s\u0103 experimenteze re\u0163ete acas\u0103, \u00een buc\u0103t\u0103rie. Apoi totul s-a transformat \u00een afacere.<br \/>\n\u201eA trebuit s\u0103 trecem peste fricile \u015fi ezit\u0103rile care apar totdeauna vizavi de ceva necunoscut. \u015ei pe m\u0103sur\u0103 ce am \u00eenv\u0103\u0163at tot mai multe despre domeniu, am prins curaj s\u0103 mergem mai departe\u201d, mai spune Raluca.<br \/>\nIni\u0163ial au vrut s\u0103 deschid\u0103 o ber\u0103rie \u00een centrul Capitalei, \u00een zona Pie\u0163ei Lahovary, dar au aflat c\u0103 acolo nu ar fi ob\u0163inut avizele necesare pentru produc\u0163ie. A\u015fa c\u0103 s-au reorientat c\u0103tre un spa\u0163iu de pe o platform\u0103 industrial\u0103 din zona Cr\u00e2nga\u015fi din Bucure\u015fti. \u00centre timp, p\u00e2n\u0103 c\u00e2nd spa\u0163iul va fi gata, produc\u0163ia are loc cu echipamentele unei alte ber\u0103rii artizanale, Three Happy Brewers. \u201eSuntem ceea ce berarii numesc \u00abgypsy brewers\u00bb\u201d, spune Raluca Baran-Candrea.<br \/>\nP\u00e2n\u0103 acum, cei doi antreprenori au pus pe pia\u0163\u0103 patru beri: o West Coast IPA \u2013 pe care au numit-o Best Coast IPA, pentru c\u0103 Paul este n\u0103scut \u015fi crescut \u00een California, o bere cu arome tropicale care s\u0103 fac\u0103 g\u00e2ndurile s\u0103 zboare la vacan\u0163e; o Farmhouse Ale \u2013 bere \u00een stil belgian, numit\u0103 Saison de Citron, pentru c\u0103 are o u\u015foar\u0103 arom\u0103 de citrice, provenit\u0103 din Lemondrop; Masai Stout \u2013 o bere neagr\u0103 cu arom\u0103 de cafea; \u015fi Zen Den \u2013 o New England IPA, \u201elejer\u0103 ca o leg\u0103nare \u00een hamac\u201d.<br \/>\n\u201eAm investit peste 200.000 de euro, la pachet cu mult efort \u015fi pasiune. \u00cen 2018 am lansat prima bere, Anagram Best Coast IPA, la sf\u00e2r\u015fitul lunii mai. Anul trecut am avut o cifr\u0103 de afaceri de 40.000 de euro, iar la finalul lunii august 2019 cifra de afaceri aproape s-a dublat.\u201d<br \/>\nPlanul este ca, p\u00e2n\u0103 la sf\u00e2r\u015fitul anului 2019, Raluca \u015fi Paul Baran-Candrea s\u0103 poat\u0103 produce bere \u00een propria lor ber\u0103rie. Spa\u0163iul este deja amenajat \u015fi utilat, iar acum se afl\u0103 \u00een plin proces de avizare.
