Construit \u00eentre 1970 \u015fi 1974, ca o cale de comunicare \u00eentre Muntenia \u015fi Ardeal, i se mai spune \u201cdrumul dintre nori\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>\nPentru realizarea celor 91 de kilometri de \u015fosea s-au dislocat circa 3 milioane de tone de roc\u0103, s-au facut 830 de lucr\u0103ri transversale \u015fi 290.000 de metri cubi de zid\u0103rie. Pentru realizarea tunelului Capra \u2013 Balea &#8211; cel mai lung din Rom\u00e2nia, cu o&nbsp; lungime de 887 m &#8211; au fost escava\u0163i peste 41.000 metri cubi de roc\u0103. Ca urmare a invaziei Cehoslovaciei de c\u0103tre trupele sovietice, \u00een 1968, Rom\u00e2nia era o \u0163int\u0103 \u00een vizorul armatei ro\u015fii. P\u00e2n\u0103 la construc\u0163ia acestuia,&nbsp; Mun\u0163ii F\u0103g\u0103ra\u015f nu puteau fi trecu\u0163i,&nbsp; \u00een acea zon\u0103, nici m\u0103car folosind calul.<\/div>\n<p>\nLa construirea lui au fost folosi\u0163i tinerii \u00eenrola\u0163i obligatoriu \u00een armat\u0103 la 18 ani, constructorii civili \u015fi militarii, \u0163\u0103ranii \u015fi intelectualii, mul\u0163i dintre cei din urm\u0103 ce proveneau din \u00eenchisorile comuniste.<\/p>\n<p>\nPotrivit povestirilor locului, minerii care se ocupau cu montarea explozibilului se \u0163ineau unii de al\u0163ii, c\u00e2te 20 \u2013 30, pentru a nu fi lua\u0163i de vijelie \u015fi arunca\u0163i \u00een pr\u0103pastie.<\/p>\n<p>\nO alt\u0103 povestire se refer\u0103 la un c\u0103lug\u0103r pe nume Nectarie. Dup\u0103 construirea Transf\u0103g\u0103r\u0103\u015fanului acesta a urcat cu ma\u015fina, un Trabant, p\u00e2n\u0103 la Capra, unde a fost suprins de o avalan\u015f\u0103. A l\u0103sat ma\u015fina sub copertina de la Capra iar el s-a aruncat pe zapada, fiind dus de \u201cval\u201d. Se spune c\u0103 a\u015fa a sc\u0103pat cu via\u0163\u0103, \u00een timp ce ma\u015fina a fost g\u0103sit\u0103 dup\u0103 6 luni c\u00e2nd s-a topit z\u0103pada.<\/p>\n<p>\nCert este c\u0103 o parte dintre cei care au construit \u201cdrumul dintre nori\u201d au murit \u00een pr\u0103p\u0103stiile ad\u00e2nci ale Mun\u0163ilor F\u0103g\u0103ra\u015f.
