Google vrea sa scaneze integral toate cartile, chiar si pe cele protejate de copyright (din care insa va afisa online numai unele fragmente), ceea ce a provocat numeroase proteste. Momentan, proiectul este in stand-by.<\/P>  <P class=MsoNormal style=\"MARGIN: 0in 0in 0pt\" align=justify>&nbsp;<\/P>  <P class=MsoNormal style=\"MARGIN: 0in 0in 0pt\" align=justify><STRONG>CUM FUNCTIONEAZA.<\/STRONG> Utilizatorii motorului de cautare Google acceseaza adresa print.google.com, unde pot efectua cautari dupa cuvinte cheie. Rezultatele vor arata paragrafe ori anumite pagini din cartile protejate de copyright sau carti intregi, daca acestea nu sunt sub copyright. <\/P>  <P class=MsoNormal style=\"MARGIN: 0in 0in 0pt\" align=justify>&nbsp;<\/P>  <P class=MsoNormal style=\"MARGIN: 0in 0in 0pt\" align=justify><STRONG>DE UNDE PROVIN CARTILE.<\/STRONG> Volumele provin in principal din doua surse: edituri si biblioteci. Cel putin deocamdata, Google nu are o politica prin care sa solicite acordul expres al autorului pentru ca opera sa-i fie copiata in format digital.<\/P>  <P class=MsoNormal style=\"MARGIN: 0in 0in 0pt\" align=justify>&nbsp;<\/P>  <P class=text style=\"MARGIN: 0in 0in 0pt\" align=justify><\/SPAN><STRONG>PROBLEME LEGALE.<\/STRONG> Google a fost dat in judecata la sfarsitul lunii septembrie de Authors Guild, o asociatie <?xml:namespace prefix = st1 ns = \"urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:smarttags\" \/><st1:City><st1:place>americana<\/st1:place><\/st1:City> de aparare a drepturilor scriitorilor.
